Return to the world-famous and scenic alpine railways of Gotthardbahn, with a new set of scenarios created by SGL.
The Gotthardbahn is the second highest standard railway in Switzerland, which has been meticulously remodeled by SGL for Train Simulator. The route runs from Erstfeld, on the North side of the Alps, at an altitude of 472 metres (1,549 ft), South to Bellinzona near the Italian border at an altitude of 241 metres (791 ft). Featuring ramps, bridges and tunnels to explore as you take on the challenge of these incredible mountains.
With these new scenarios you will climb back into the cab of the sleek SBB Re 460 locomotive. Scenarios include taking control of a service chasing a train with power problems, running freight into Erstfeld, driving the final stages of an S10 service from Bellinzona to Biasca and rescuing a long train heading to Göschenen. The five scenarios also include ‘enhanced’ versions that feature the SBB RABe 523 EMU.
