The DLC adds a new gameplay mode where players take control over a premade strike group and have to use all of the available resources to their maximum potential in order to complete new historically-inspired mission.

The Allies are looking for a way to identify weak points of the new Japanese superweapon - Yamato. Your goal is to stay hidden and repeatedly send scouts as the iconic battleship is attacked by the submarines. Your pilots are instructed to report on possible damages and torpedo resistance of the ship.
