Known Issues

Hello Smithers!

We're so hyped for you to try the BlackForge demo! We'd love to hear your feedback via this form. As it's a demo, there's a chance you might encounter some bugs (though we hope not). If you do, please report them in the form's bug section:

• Merchant might stutter with his left arm when walking in for a couple of seconds.
  
• Grabbing the quest with the pliers over the planning station can cause errors.
  
• Holding the quest with two hands and releasing it with one hand over the planning station will stick the quest to your hand
  
• Fire spirit states behaves oddly after a while, some states doesn’t seem to reset properly
  
• Mouth animation might be a little out of sync
  
• All posters will show up with a “wood reward", only the last missions in the demo will & should actually gain the materials

DEEP, APPROACHABLE WEAPONSMITHING

VR allows BlackForge to go deeper than any other weaponsmithing game before it. Shape and smooth wood on the workbench, or heat metal in the forge and then summon thunder into your hammer to beat it into shape. Be as creative as you like by putting personal touches on each weapon. Accessible tutorials make the game easy to pick up and get started with.

HONE YOUR CRAFT IN A FULL CAMPAIGN

BlackForge has a full campaign in which you’ll take on requests from townspeople across the world. You’ll complete increasingly intricate tasks from the surrounding towns. Once you’ve mastered all the new tricks and techniques taught to you in one area, you’ll move on to the next with a new set of missions and skills to learn.
